If by plantation owners you mean during the days of human trafficking, then
you can find it all on ancestry.com

The slave registers have been indexed. I see Dalzell, Robertson and Wilson
    in the mid 1700s.

After the 1830s, I don't know much about that.

I would like to start a thread on this subject. I have done a lot of research on my own surname (and its variants) and the Irish in general in the Caribbean.

If you are not sure if your name is of Irish origin please ask me. I

Thank you for alerting me to the digitised Slave Registers on Ancestry. Several years ago I did the 650 mile round trip to The National Archives to consult these archives. However, are plantation owners indexed anywhere?
I found the personal slave of William Bland (a millwright from England), in 1825 but no trace of any other slaves, and yet I believe he had a
plantation in North Naparima, Trinidad. He went out to Trinidad in about 1820 but
I cannot find him in the 1822 Registers. He was dead before the 1828 Registers. I do not know the name of his Plantation. I suspect that he might have been related to George Bland, a merchant in Port of Spain. Any information or advice would be gratefully received. I have been looking for the
parents of William Bland for 29 years!

    Hi Malcolm

I wondered if you were aware of the Legacies of British Slave Ownership database at https://www.ucl.ac.uk/lbs/search/

Although the slave compensation claims occurred a few years after William Bland's death, I see that there are some references to George Bland in
Trinidad which might mean something to you.

    Cheers

    Howard
