is not an accident sporadic but due to a planned slaughter, and that is why we have responded to South Vietnam's call for assistance, we believe in their efforts to save this country. It is worthwhile, necessary, and essential ».

The commune Chief, along with his wife, like a mad man when one of their children, a 7-year-old boy, had been missing for four days, went to Lieutenant General Lewis W Walt for help because he believed the kid was kidnapped by the Viet Cong, and then
suddenly, the kid got out of the forest and ran across the rice fields to return to the village. He ran and cried. His mother rushed out, hugging him to his lap. Both his hands were severed and his neck was worn with a warning sign on his neck. If he or
anyone in the village dares to vote in the next election, he will suffer worse for his remaining children.

In another commune not far from Da Nang, the Viet Cong issued similar warnings. All the villagers were gathered in front of the Chief's house, including his pregnant wife and four children to witness VC's brutal persecution.

The Chief's tongue was cut; his lower cast was also castrated, put in blood-covered mouth, and sewn up.

While he was dead, the VCs turned to torturing the wife by cutting her belly out with a knife. A 9-year-old child was pierced from one ear to the other by a sharp stick.

The other two kids were similarly killed. Only the 5-year-old girl was let by them to escape death, and then she could only hold the hand of the dead mother crying.

Lieutenant General Walt arrived at a county, a day after it was overrun by VCs and the Northern Army. A number of ARVN soldiers who were not killed on the battlefield were arrested. VC tied these soldiers up and then shot them in the mouth or at the back

Their wives and children, and children of 2 or 3 years old, were taken to parades, naked, on their streets before being executed.

Some people had a throat cut off; someone had a beheaded or had an abdominal surgery; their bodies were carried on the fence along with warning signs to the villagers, if they continue to support the Saigon government, they will also suffer a similar
fate.

Such acts of terrorism are not sporadic acts but are a result of their intended policy.

Meanwhile, there were naïve and anti-American people around the world who, fascinated by the Communist propaganda rhythms, beat the gongs and ranted against what they called nature the American immorality in the war in South Vietnam such as air

The Communists have pointed out many actions they consider to be cruel and barbaric in South Vietnam but have forgotten that they themselves committed terrible crimes.
