    I've looked through a few of the lists of The Best Movie Directors on Google recently. What I noticed is that Roman Polanski was NOT on any of them. Why? Wasn't he above average? Well, he wasn't consistently outstanding. But he managed to create a few
    masterpieces. So what is the matter?
    Another well, I couldn't find Ingmar Bergman on those lists too.

    Nawet swojaki mają go dość i nie wypada im ciągle zachwycać się nad tandetą.
    Kosmetycznie można było go wspierać jak to u "ż" swojaków bywało, ale nie ciągle/bezwarunkowo.

    PL listy/rankingi są raczej niszowe, podejrzewam że mr. Grzegorzowi chodziło o listy nieco bardziej
    elitarne.

    PL listy/rankingi są raczej niszowe, podejrzewam że mr. Grzegorzowi chodziło o listy nieco bardziej
    elitarne.

    Pan Grzgrz jest Polakiem, i pyta na scpolish - wiec to co polskie nie jest tak bez znaczenia jak Gąska Alojzy sugeruje.

    Ale Bal Wampirów, Dziecko Rosemary, Piratów, Frantic i Dziewiąte Wrota po prostu uwielbiam.

    That might be right for the most of our primitive Poles.

    Including some of the Party ... brightest - ask Prof. Kleczkowski what he thinks about Polanski ... ;-)
