    During a 45-minute long talk fielding questions about Canada's accusations that New Delhi was behind the assassination of a Canadian #Sikh leader, the spokesperson called out Canada as many as seven times, adding it was a hotbed of "anti-India activities"

    Earlier in the week Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said there was "credible" evidence that the Indian state was behind the June murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Sikh leader and Canadian citizen.

    #Canada expelled a top #Indian intelligence diplomat and #India countered by dismissing a Canadian diplomat.

    Since then, the tensions have heightened to include India issuing a travel advisory to Canada and both sides halting talks on a massive trade deal.
