TAINTED LEADERS IN KERALA'S CONG'S DRAFT LIST

Kochi - A large number of Congress Ministers and MLAs in
Kerala – starting with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy – are
facing serious charges of corruption but this has not
prevented the party from including the names of all of
them in the list of the probable candidates it has drawn
up for the May 16 Assembly election. Also, this has
happened despite State party president VM Sudheeran's
relentless campaign against corruption and for
transparency.
Chandy is charged with taking Rs 1.90-crore bribe from
con woman Saritha S Nair, accused in the solar scam. His
Excise Minister K Babu had allegedly taken `10 crore as
bribe from bar owners. It has already been proved that
Chandy's loyalist Benny Behennan MLA has been in constant
contact with Saritha. The list is long. Still, all of
them figure in the draft list.
