    Shadow Benny (phonetic spelling) is from French 'chadon beni', i.e., thistle blessed or, in English, blessed thistle. In Spanish Caribbean as well as Lopinot, T&T, for ex, 'culantro', I suspect because of its similar though much stronger taste
    resemblance to cilantro. The Indian local (T&T) word for it is 'bandanya' where ban is wild, forest and anya is cilantro, so, it is wild or forest cilantro.
