Developing countries in general have a lot more of traffic accidents and related death.
"As countries grow richer, safety measures take time to catch up."
Many developing countries have not had the money to develop their roads or to repair them. Sometimes, a path becomes a road, and in itself, there is not authority to look into the safety aspects of it. At most, its local authority would put road curbs
along any unsafe curvature edge of the "road" to show it is a "safe" road.
Add another most, they would paint road lines on the road. But if the road is still of mud and sand, a center line of concrete block is placed to serve as road divider, painted of reflective black and white paint at its side to alert driver of the
presence of safety center line.
Unfortunately, a lot of drivers in road accidents are either reckless, careless, drunken, road-rage, or over-tired driver. Most times, in matter of time, they ended up bringing dangers and disasters to road users and people in their rides with them.
In short, the remedy is to ensure traffic enforcement is present at all times, and camera footages should be placed to catch them in order to ban them from driving in order to save others from accidents instead.
