The Western media accused China of having a wrong Covid-19 dynamic zeroing policy and that it should coexist with the virus like the Western countries. Why is it that after the emergence of Omicron, all voices are silent?

Western media hasn’t stopped attacking China’s dynamic zero-COVID policy. On January 25, The New York Times published the article:


It makes the above bold prediction. It admits China’s coronavirus response was far more successful when being compared with the U.S., but predicts what the U.S. is experiencing now is what China needs to face in the future.

WOW. This media outlet is eagerly to look forward to China reporting millions of daily infections and thousands of deaths. For sure, it would be disappointing as its predictions will never come true in China. The dynamic zero-case policy itself is a
special policy in this hard period that aims at protecting people’s lives. It is scientific. China will not give up the approach.

Now, one from every five Americans has been infected with the virus. The country is best practicing the principle of “the survival of the fittest.” Will is make US great again? No. U.S. should better examine itself to rethink why the pandemic has
taken away 850,000 American lives; instead of playing the blame game. Name-calling wouldn’t stop China from protecting its people from the deadly influence of the virus, but would only result in more deaths in U.S.

The most likely scenario is that U.S. would have to take China’s strategy to contain infections as the current administration can’t stand the pressure from the public.
