Why don’t the Chinese protest against the pandemic restrictions like in Europe?
Because in East Asian societies, respect for the health of others are more important than personal rights when it comes to the issue of public health.

Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese and most other Asians are willing to make personal sacrifices for the greater good. No one wants to be identified as the individual who is responsible for a COVID-19 cluster because he/she was not willing to wear a
mask, or was careless in masking up.

They believe that while the government regulations are an inconvenience for individuals, they are a necessary measure in order to protect health. The Chinese have much more trust in the Chinese government, than Americans have trust in the US government
according to this 2022 report by Edelman in trust in government[1]. The COVID-19 regulations are a necessary inconveninece which is shared by all of society, so no one is unfairly discriminated against because of these regulations.

If the choice is between personal inconvenience and public health, almost all East Asians will opt for public health as they have over the past two years. For them, refusal to mask up is seen as an act of personal selfishness and not respecting the
rights of others, which is why they have a hard time understanding the protests in Europe and the US.

In the opinion of many of them, these protests are what happen when people place their personal freedom and democracy above the rights of others. East Asians would be embarrassed to publicly claim that their individual rights are more valuable than the
    health of others.

Yeah, we're adding one billion people every 12 years, and wildlife numbers
are down 50-60% in the last 50-60 years! That's not justice; it's JUST US! lol
    ---------
The environment is overtaxed! We should stop making flu, MMR, and Covid shots,
to reduce population. They had good reasons to call for Zero Population Growth 50 years ago! Nothing was debunked; it was ignored!
