    Where did you get this figure from? Are you quoting an old figure?

    There were about 2.6 million homeless people in China in 2011 but the government’s extreme poverty eradication programs has reduced the numbers to an insignificant number.

    Today, there very few people living on the streets of China's cities without means of support.

    I think the figures that James from India gave are likely made up. And I doubt Homeless numbers in US is that low.

    I was visiting Beijing in 2013 for two weeks and Guangzhou in 2019 for 3 weeks I visited lot of villages both time I were there I only see a few homeless in outside of Beijing no homeless in Guangdong province in 2019. No Comparison to US at this crazy
    time I don't dare to go out after 8pm specially in NY city.
