If there were no China to counterbalance the US, what will the world look like? America is literally the bully nation of the world who listens to no one, breaks agreements, violets conventions, rips up treaties, and have invaded sovereign nations by democratically elected governments against the United Nations explicit terms.
Russia and India would be the enemies… then someone else and on and on and on and on….
America needs an enemy to make them the good, and that's how it will stay until it's changed.
