I am in Australia, and have several friends in China. They do about everything that I do. Chat on the internet, go shopping, work, travel within their country and overseas. So how is it that Chinese people are considered oppressed?
I lived in China for many years and the lifestyle was relaxed and friendly. There was no sense of oppression at all. I lived a much freer lifestyle than I ever did in the UK or North America for example.
That’s why it is so crazy when some people who have never been to China cry out “China is oppressed!”
I felt totally free and safe in China. Its a great country.
