Isn’t it colonialism when China takes over national assets, like airports, from African countries who cannot pay their debts?
China has never taken over national assets. This is fucking bullshit.

In some instances, China has made debt for equity swaps to the mutual satisfaction of both parties. This is just good business.

It is not uncommon for foreign companies to own, partially or otherwise, your national assets. This happens all over the world. China isn’t doing anything unique.

Colonialism is when a foreign country takes over your government, your land, your resources, and oppresses your people. There is no comparison.
