There is a saying, “Use it or lose it.” Will the USA have to use its military soon if it is to have any hope of avoiding total eclipse by China?
They use their military and they still lose. China PLA Navy is going to be around 500+ modern blue water capable warships, America's old outdated warships look like absolute rust buckets, they don't even try to keep them updated.
The USA army hasn't won any war for years, they have never fight against an equal ever, if they couldn't win against Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Korea or Vietnam…they will have no chance against China's 2 million armed soldiers.
They are going full out in J20 fighters, the Y20 H20… America doesn't have a chance…and to make it worse, they will be the third wealthiest country behind China in first and India in second.
Not even silver…they get the bronze medal, will that is unless they screw things up and end up well down in 6th place.
