If China is so peace loving, why is it spending so much on expanding and modernising its military?
If China did not build a modern military the US would have attacked by now. They learnt by their own history what happens to a nation that can not defend it’s people. The US. UK or EU took no pity on them instead they completely destroyed and took
anything of value, and it is expected that they remain that way?

The modern world is not one of peace, it is strongest makes the rules and weakest complies. China is the richest Country in the world and while it is not important to them it is concerning to the rest of the world like it means something.

China is not interested in being the richest in the world if the safety of their 1.4 billion people is at risk. What is use of money nothing unless you can use it for a good purpose.

China will not be happy until the have self sufficiency, no reliance on any other country by their choice. They are currently working with over 180 countries in the world and it is slowly growing more and more without competition. As the manufacturing
mecca of the no country can provide what they can do, at incredible speed the do, at a low price like they do.

They are moving their sights now, to higher quality technologically advanced areas with higher profit margins. They might, as has been rumored, shift a lot of the small market items off to other countries through the BRI program releasing them to focus
on satellites, automation and military defense.

China are ahead of America in areas, even if the American arrogance will not allow them to believe it. China is spending money building, and a military is an important part of defending their future.
