Pentagon rattled by Chinese military push on multiple fronts - “The pace at which China is moving is stunning,” Milley and other U.S. officials have declined to discuss details of the Chinese test, saying they are secret. He called it “very
concerning” for the United States but added that problems posed by China's military modernization run far deeper. They’re expanding rapidly in space, in cyber and then in the traditional domains of land, sea and air.”

It is exaggeration of the Western media to the world amplifying that China
is the posing a threat to the world.

This is simply because of China has advanced weapons. They said this without regard to their US for their threats and attacks at others

Their worst is their making attacks on countries, robbing and stealing and destroying the people lives.

This kind of one-side attack is meaningless and lopsided designed to
disrespect to all countries except of the US in itself.

It is strange that these Western so-called writers are warped in their minds
by the money they were paid to fake up stories for their customer in US.

<irony> They must be stunned by much lesser waste/mismanagement than in
US case. <irony> Catching up is easier than taking significant lead.
Is PRC taking lead *already* ?

Yes, since the days of Christopher Columbus...

European nations first, and U.S. Japan, and others...

Is not China history long enough to make "black marks" 200% sure?

China had a horrible history of warring among itself and their invading neighbors from the North.
China had never gone outside of China to kill, steal, enslave/destroy...
In fact Zheng He sailed the ocean blue to give gifts of dishes, porcelain, vase,... in Africa.

So watch out what you ask for by *over* playing your quite good cards.

The US could taking lead in many areas technologically speaking. But is military competition is not simply a matter of technological level in general. Rather, it is how to put various kind of technology at various levels to work.

What is the factual and/or logical foundation of your "may be"?
Do you really know something the MSN article writer does not know?
Do you really know something Pentagon does not know?

As is, your "may be" is quite meaningless. You might as well wrote
,<irony> They must be stunned by Chinese people have darker complexion
    than in US case.<irony>
