China is doing the right thing as their infection control management is by segmenting the local population size in the precinct into grids of segments.
Tracing of the infected person is done through sieving out from the each grid of segment in the population size.
As number of infected person is unknown, swab test in each grid of segments will speed up the process of testing on the people.
Hence, by segmentation in a segment, they can cut them into smaller groups. It will make checking and sieving out of infection in more precise way, too.
As more mobile test centres are deployed in areas of their homes, access for testing is enhanced. More testing people can be deployed simultaneously, too.
People in the precinct can then be released faster. They can wait at home for a few hours before their test result is known.
If nothing happened to them, they can resume their routines outside of their home. Segmenting by segment into squares by gridlines is an effective way to sieve out infection in big or small population size.
By this way it can ensure there are no more infections within the population in each of the segmented segments in the precinct.
