Just because you're good at rising to power or getting elected doesn't mean you're good at solving problems. You have to be honest to solve problems; you don't have to be honest to get elected. All top politicians should have a job requirement to attend
regular meetings of a spiritual recovery program, to learn to be more honest and less selfish. It works for that other group of chronic troublemakers (alcoholics and addicts), so it'll work for anyone!
