ST. LOUIS COUNTY — The ex-boyfriend of a missing St. Louis County woman
was charged Wednesday with her murder after admitting to killing her and disposing of her body.
Trenton Ivy, 31, of Flordell Hills, is charged with the killing of
Marquisha Williams, 29, of St. Louis, who was reported missing last week.
Ivy and Williams share four children.
Williams was last seen, with Ivy, in her 2020 Jeep Compass near Cook and
Spring avenues in north St. Louis, St. Louis County Police said.
Her family reported her disappearance to police Dec. 20, after she dropped
off her kids at daycare centers and at relatives’ houses, but didn’t show
up to her work shift that morning, her family has said in local television reports.
Two days later, Ivy was arrested in Racine, Wisconsin, on charges of using
a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest by an officer and fleeing from an
officer in a vehicle. He was driving Williams's vehicle, police said. Detectives found blood and "biological material" in the jeep along with personal items that belonged to Williams.
Ivy later admitted to Racine detectives that he killed Williams during a physical altercation and then disposed of her body in an unknown location, police said.
Williams' family has pleaded for public assistance in locating her and led search parties throughout St. Louis and the Metro East each over several
days.
A relative reached Wednesday said Williams’ family were out continuing
their search and would keep looking each day until they found her.
Ivy was being held in custody in Racine without bond.
