I am starting this thread for discussion on the Singapore General Election 2020. It's a pity that soc.culture.singapore has been banned by the PAPists. But we can still discuss here.

In this time of new leadership renewal is to have the oppositions be given a chance to be pari-passu with the papist.

Pari passu of being side by side, at the same rate or on the same equal footing.

Oppositions are now exceeded papist members in knowledge and abilities and
even beyond equal of experiences than all of the papist side.

In the new era, they should be recognised and respected, be with equal
ranking equally, hand-in-hand, and equal force or moving together.

It is clearly of the people's desire to have supervision and participatory functions for them, too.

They want the oppositions to be the direct voices for them, as papist have always kept away of other issues to the public.

Hence it is even more necessary to have 1/3 of more oppositions in
    parliament.

This is in order to fulfil the desire of people to have majority of them to contest for them.

And by extension, they be given fairly distributed be given minister or
    senior post without partiality.

    Hi Babara. Wakalukong..
Opposition shld he won more seats if the opposition parties spoke with one voice!
Opposition parties shld knew that they were underdogs. As underdogs, they shldnt acted as if they some (parties) were the elite parties n some were the loose parties. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO ACT! If u can't stand the heat, don't go inside a kitchen

The other thing I would like to highlight is..we all knew LHY intention to join the opposition party (PSP).. Since he wanted to involve by openly supported PSP, he shld go all out to lend a hand to rest of those loose opposition parties. In life, if u
want to achieve something (your aim) u be more vocal n shld go all out supporting all loose opposition parties. This is how thing works in life. Don't do thing half hearted.
Singaporean are mostly a bunch of self centered ppl...n also very kiasu types..
