There are too many activities going up and down of Genting. Too much
activities will cause vibrations and loosening of the soils. Many of these eroded soils will soon fall apart and slide off and fell downhill.
As erosion of soil continues to erode nearer to the site of where Genting stands, the risk of chances of more soil movement will happen. More soil
will fall off the side of the mountain as more vibration pressure is placed
on them.
Additionally, the eroded soil will weaken the soil underneath it. It will
add to further fear of further soil erosions, and ultimately large
landslides. The soil entrapment that slides down will cause considerable
soil weakening too.
What is needed is to stop anymore expansion on the site. Also, there should
be more piles to be driven to the ground to shore up the soil from erosion. Concrete barriers can be placed on wall of mountains to withhold and
withstand soils on its sides are held fast without sliding off.
