The earth is soaked with too much rainwater and seawater. Its saturation has reached the core of the earth and overflowing out of it. It is like a sponge soaked to the core, over-flowing out with the excess water instead..
The soaked up earth is leaking out water and the ground is soft and muddy.
The forest and jungle were burnt out by fires or replantation, making the
earth more hot and more muddy wet and spongy ground.
Therefore sinkholes occurred when the soil under the ground started to
become soft from the soaking of large amount of water absorbed that cannot
be sieved and drained out. When this happens, the water-clogged ground
becomes softer into the deeper part of the earth, that reaches the deeper
part of the piling of the building.
The piling is the foundation that holds the building, and when the deep
ground is shaky, soaked with water, the piling becomes shaky and weak. The building then collapses when the soil deep in the pile becomes soggy and
saggy, moved by soft soils, landslides, and sinkholes.
Eventually the earth is like a sponge that is over-flowing with excess water and It has no where to go flow to, and the earth will be drowned up by
water.

It was due to soil in planet Mars were soaked wit water turning soggy..where its soil 'sinked' below. Just like wat we r facing now..ie sinkhole..all
