    The question is preposterous! Since when is a *putsch* executed by a
    foreign power in another country in any way a form of democracy? There
    is only one possible parallel: the US in almost identical fashion
    PROVOKED Hungary to take up arms which at best would amount to an
    attempted putch but it wasn't even that. There wasn't even a semblance
    of intent to complete the putch much less return Hungary to democracy.
    As intended from the outset, after having prodded Hungary to kick the
    beast in the balls the US completely abandonned Hungary to the bolshevik Szoviet reign of terror. The only other intent had been to create a
    diversion covering the Suez attack. Beginning with the argument that if
    either Hungary or Suez was a diversion serving the other then the fact
    that Hungary was both smaller AND first makes the case unequivocal.
