Vaccine order: Belgian lobbyist sues von der Leyen

Von der Leyen (pictured) and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla are suspected of
having negotiated a €1.8 billion contract extension for additional doses
to EU countries directly via text messages. So far, however, the
Commission has only been confronted with administrative complaints.

A Belgian lobbyist has filed a lawsuit against EU Commission President
Ursula von der Leyen in a Belgian court. If so, her immunity could be
waived and text messaging exchanges with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla could be investigated.
