    Happy solstice!

    But it is 2:23 a.m. here now and I won’t be up for the 6 a.m. sunrise ceremony in Bannerman Park hosted by the St. John’s Native Friendship
    Centre.

    However I may be doing some gardening around the exact time of the solstice, which is 1:24 p.m. locally.

    And Friday night I will imbibe some beer with my friends the Fidlers.
