Though I am now pagan, I am an ex-Catholic, was educated
in Catholic schools, and my family members are Catholic.
So on behalf of the Catholic church I apologize to indigenous
people for the tragedy of deaths of indigenous children
attending residential schools, and I hope that some who
are still Catholic on the Catholic newsgroups this is
crossposted to will echo that sentiment.
