ONE DETAINED AT IGIA FOR CARRYING BULLETS

New Delhi - One person was detained on Sunday at the IGI
airport for allegedly carrying three live bullets in his
baggage. According to a senior police official at the
Airport, the incident came to the fore at about 6:30 am
from Terminal-3 of the airport when a passenger,
identified as B K Sharma, was getting his security checks
done and on-duty CISF personnel recovered three live
rounds of .32mm from his bag.
Sanjay Bhatia, DCP, IGIA said, "The flier, bound for
Lukhnow, produced an arms licence valid only for Uttar
Pradesh. He was later handed over to the Delhi Police for
further probe. He has been detained. Further
investigation is still on."
