* Jesus … > * Turned water into wine (John 2:1–11)
So ? Millions of gallons of wine are produced by farmers. Does being a
good wine maker make you a good law maker ?
* Healed a paralytic (Mark 2:1–12)
So ? He healed one man. Good doctors heal lots of people, not just one.
* Healed a withered hand (Mark 3:1–3)
Same.
* Calmed a storm (Mark 4:35–41)
Storms are part of nature. If it bothers you, build a good house, and
watch when to sail.
* Healed a servant from afar (Luke 7:1–10)
Same. Another one person healing. Moshe Rabbeinu gave the law for an
entire Nation, forever. Thousands and thousands of servants may be freed
from their masters thanks to this law, and have their yoke lightened
even before they are free. This fantastical super man of yours isn't
anywhere near the same league as Moshe Rabbeinu.
* Revived a dead man (Luke 7:11–17)
If we are understanding correctly, Abraham being a good man became a
Nation, and by being good an entire Nation may merit to rise from the dead
(as this is promised it seems).
* Healed a man with leprosy (Matthew 8:2–4)
Same.
* Healed a bleeding woman (Luke 8:43–48)
There was a time I was hurt, and if I recall two persons patched me
up. Perhaps I can find their names so that you can worship them as your
gods ?
* Healed a man born blind (John 9:1–12)
Another one person extremely hard to verify miracle. Given the corruption
and crime around, all these circus tricks you are mentioning may be just
that. Pay someone to play blind, and then suddenly they see again. A
miracle ! Don't forget to send your money to Rome.
* Fed the multitude (Matthew 14:13–21)
He fed them, but wasn't there a son of Israel who saved all his brothers
and people from famine in Egypt ?
* Walked on water (Matthew 14:22–33)
What is the use of walking on water ? Personally I prefer walking on
land. Did Moshe Rabbeinu need to walk on water, despite giving the law
to an entire people and leading them out of Egypt to freedom, including fighting entire wars, things that this Jesus super man comic book
character doesn't even come close to doing ? What is the law of Jesus
? Be nice to your neighbor ? That's a direct quote from Moshe Rabbeinu.
* Cast out demons (Matthew 17:14–21)
Ahh demons.
* Healed a man with a severed ear (Luke 22:50–51)
Did he heal the ears of the western idolators, so they could hear the
Torah ? It seems not. Maybe a little bit, to be fair. I guess there is something then, but not really for the Jewish Nation.
* Resurrected himself (Mark 16:1–7)
Elvis did that, or do you think Elvis Presley was the second coming
? The King lives ! ;P What is the use of resurrecting himself, if he
wasn't doing much of any use anyway ?
I could go on ….
I saw a documentary once, about tribal people. They had a magician of
sorts. He did weird things like pushed a knife into his hand, but it was
not harmed. It was weird crazy dude. The tribe was amazed about this guy,
they honored him. This is the level of circus tricks and shady market
wizardry your Jeebus idol belongs to. Nothing like Jehoshua ben Nun, who
is at the head when Israel conquers an entire land, and gives everyone
their share of it by lottery, according to the laws of Moshe Rabbeinu.
You are comparing a story about a two thousand year dead circus clown, who
said to his crowd that they should drink his blood to be saved (!!!), to probably the most famous law maker and morality teacher in world history,
and it wasn't merely law either. Moshe Rabbeinu also fought back by his
own hand against Egyptian abusers, killing them. That is the story of a
hero. He gave it all up for the truth ! Ran to the desert, from the top
to an outcast. Your Jeebus idol ? Besides some stories which are fake
(because Jeebus didn't even exist, see Ceasar's Messiah if you can
deal with the truth), but even if they are fake it is still nothing,
your Jeebus idol does what ? He runs around with his wizzardry, at best
vaguely quotes some Torah, and then wants to be declared god and for
his crew to drink his blood ! It's a sharlatan, smoke and mirrors in a dangerous back alley, Jesus to the right "healing the sick" and in the
same tent someone is reading your fortune for a dime, while another is
pick pocketing you from behind.
Well, I criticized the church, so I shall be a bit nice now. There can be
nice singing in churches, and they may do an amount of useful charity,
and it may help that they at least come together sometimes, rather than
fight, and despite all the distortions, some truth from the Torah may
bleed into it. It isn't all bad, but if you take a serious look, nothing
of it remains except the Torah, and it is all the Torah doing the good.
