The term 'debt-trap' was coined by those Indian dogs for their American
    master.

Nonsense. It doesn't matter if they are "welcome" there
any more. They have become indespensible, have bribed
all the right people. Worst case, they emulate the Belgians.

The utility of a "debt trap" is debatable. The question is
whether China can afford to bankrupt the USA - its
biggest customer. IF they make enough inroads with
the rest of the world - the EU especially but the others
are important too - then they CAN crush the USA and
still come out in the black.

I do not see Biden getting in their way.

A weak USA opens many doors for China and Russia, and
to some extent Iran. A UK diplomat said today that Russia
seems to have no interest in having "constructive dialogue"
with the EU ; that the distance between the two is getting
larger. I am surprised some Russian didn't say "We will
    be much closer, soon ...."
