• Strontium-90 Fallout

    From Raskolynikov@21:1/5 to All on Fri Mar 18 14:15:17 2022
    My calculations show: if the half-life of Strontium-90 fallout residue is 28.9 years, then it would take:

    * 96.0 years for the fallout to drop to 10% of the initial blast, and
    * 192.0 years for the fallout to drop to 1% of the initial blast.

    Please verify.

    The formula is:

    t = - 28.9y × (log 0.01 / log 2)

    or

    t = - half-life × (log (percentage / 100) / log 2)

    in the LORD
    Amen

    Second question:

    I am unable to calculate how much exactly nuclear fallout would be generated by Mr. Putin's 5977 nukes,
    in the theoretical case the "weak" West doesn't respond and launch its own?

    I am unable to calculate that, for I don't know how much Strontium-90 is generated from 1 kg of plutonium
    in a fission explosion?

    Of course, I am aware that there are other possibly more radioactive and more chemically toxic byproducts
    of a nuclear explosion.

    Would the mushroom clouds keep the radiation over the West alone, or do the winds blow like cyclones and
    anticyclones from West to East and bring weather and fallout with them?

    I am, of course, speaking of the theoretical case that Russian launches its missiles and the USA don't.

    (Was that called Abraham's sacrifice in one of the movies discussing nuclear Armageddon?)

    in the LORD
    Amen

    USA would launch all submarine nuclear missiles targeting Russian, and Chinese, population centers
    So much for US pointing the finger to Russia for using conventional artillery on a city during a wartime siege, as if USA has never bombed cities during wars and police actions.
    Ask US military to quit targeting Russia and China with nukes and maybe the Cold War would go away.
    Oh! Never mind that! US desire to control flow of oil and gas to Europe reignited the Cold War again.
    Perhaps the 7 year tribulation has begun, and we see our existing world government structure only appears to know how to accelerate hostilities
    It is hard to find those who would oppose both the USA and Russia equally concerning the situation since either side has great difficulty not deceiving the public with a nationalistic biased viewpoint,

    US is threatening to accelerate if China ships semiconductors to Russia
    Someone needs to inform US that it does not own mathematical, computer, chemical nor physical science. As such US cannot own technology that can be independently discovered by another nation.
    US wishes to own the skies, but it cannot own heaven nor the spatial expanses neither..

    Who is it that is pushing for nuclear war thinking they can even beat Russia? Why has the Sentinel been awakened?

    I agree with the notion that Europe should be demilitarised from nuclear weapons.
    That also means no proliferation to Belarus.

    Putting nuke so close together gets nuclear physicists a lot of antiballistic migraines.
