• Expect a flood of US Kamikaze drones

    . . .
These “kamikaze” drones are significantly cheaper than larger and more sophisticated vehicles, and have a lower price tag than other single-use munitions that the US has supplied to Ukraine in recent weeks. A single Javelin launch system and missile
costs $178,000, according to the Pentagon’s 2021 budget, while an anti-personnel Switchblade drone costs $6,000, NBC reported.
    . . .

Well there it is, a cheap "wonder weapon" which US will ship in great numbers to Ukraine.
Certainly, by now, China has its own, even cheaper, version of such a drone. Russia might have own version, but with the number of drones expected from US, Russia would need to reach out to China to augment its own supply. Sooner or later, we knew drone warfare would take over.
But wonder weapons must be imported and need advanced electronics chips.
