IRON AND CLAY
The late night tram just passed
Too intoxicated and too unaware that it was mine
The good looking girl just catches a car
But I am different kind
Too fond of my precious freedom
That big money would just buy
And then destroy
Too proud to take their toys
For I was a different kind
They said that I was one of the elect
But I thought that was just one of their tricks
To make me uncautious, weak and sick
They are in their cars
And I take my late night tram
We had drinks together
But I turned to be the other kind
The vomit all over my clothes
Won't even turn my nose
For my wardrobe is cheap
The iron will not mix with clay
Though iron corrodes
The clay is still too cheap
But clay could still be turned into porcelain
If they were willing
But they were not
I begun to count my time backwards
To see the time
They could have sold not
The last stop
I try to wake up some passengers
But they thought I am one of the enemies
There was no time nor the means to persuade them
Or we would all end up going the next circle
This is the rule of the city transport
I walk all over the clay
I sympathise and I dismay
But they seem happy with their rut
An enemy would I bee to tell them
The only one it was not
