• The Daily Purge: Startups and Not Upstarts

From Raskolynikov@21:1/5 to All on Tue May 30 03:03:36 2023
    Job 24:22-25 YLT
22 And hath drawn the mighty by his power,
He riseth, and none believeth in life.
23 He giveth to him confidence, and he is supported,
And His eyes [are] on their ways.
24 High they were [for] a little, and they are not,
And they have been brought low.
As all [others] they are shut up,
And as the head of an ear of corn cut off.
25 And if not now, who doth prove me a liar,
And doth make of nothing my word?

Often we see people idolising and worshiping the worldly power, might, authority and the rich. In fact, people make more appreciation for the
powerful and rich than for the talented or knowledgeable or spiritual.

This is also their reward in this life.

People expect that the government will create them a future. This is not
the government's job. Government is there to collect taxes, build bridges, tunnels, roads, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, secure law and order - for basic infrastructure (though there are advocates that even those should
be privatised, government should do at least an attempt of central planning,
or the illegal building would desecrate the nature and environment).

However, when we look at the free market democracies, one thing in them
is certainly free: one in ten new startups succeeds on the average. People
pay the price for the failure with their fortunes, some went bankrupt, some others tried second, third, fourth, fifth time, some succeeded, some didn't.

Under planned economy, all of these had to be supported at the expense
of tax payers and the competent industries - or politicians would be guilty
of error together with the Party.

And the politicians and rich do not like the idea that they will have to
be cut off like ears of wheat and leave their fortune to the others, who
might not appreciate it or would squander it. Even if those are their children accustomed to a luxurious and care-free lifestyle, the idea of departure
for rich king Solomon was abhorrent (Ecclesiastes 2:19).

It is even worse for those who begot riches starting from nothing and
through dubious means. They will seek approval of the religion, but in
return they ask immortality and absolution for their crimes whilst continuing in them.

    Psalm 49:11
Their tombs will remain their houses forever, their dwellings for endless generations, though they had named lands after themselves.

When I look at my eternal life, it should not depend on the government or institutional religion. One is encouraged to personal relationship with God
and Jesus Christ, accepting him as Saviour and Lord, rather than depending
on [corrupt] institutional intercessors. The truth is still available in the Holy
Scriptures, though religion tried to destroy the testimony of God in the languages of peoples and incinerated the translators as heretics. Such
religion is in the mode of darkness.

    Isaiah 43.27-28
    Thy first father hath sinned,
and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
    So I disgraced the dignitaries of your temple;
I consigned Jacob to destruction and Israel to scorn.

But you can return to the Source of faith, the Living God in Heavens:

    1 Peter 2:25
For you were continually straying like sheep,
but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

Indeed, with so many obstacles from the god of this world, one cannot
escape the prison of materialistic illusion without conscience of living
God Creator and faith in Him.

You might ask: where is this God from Heavens that I might talk to Him
and ask Him why am I so miserable and oppressed?

    Paul confirms:

    Romans 10
“Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring
Christ down) 7 or, ‘Who will descend into the Abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ
    up from the dead).”
8 But what does it say?
“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”
that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 that if you confess with
your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

So, as we are under the power of the materialistic illusion of the god of
this world, we have to renounce Satan the Devil and accept Lord Jesus
as Saviour with his sacrifice on the Calvary (Golgotha), with a pray like
    this one:

    Dear God the Father,
I regret my mistakes. I repent of my sins.
I deny Satan the Devil and please make Jesus my Lord and Saviour.
    in Jesus name
    Amen

After this prayer, you have authorised the God Creator of the Universe
and His Son Lord Jesus Christ to extract you from the realm of Satan
and bring you into His Heavenly Kingdom.

You will do good if you find a Bible-based church with teachings
of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord guide you in this with His Spirit.
If you cannot find one, you can find a Bible study online and start
    your spiritual search.

I am not claiming that this is the only way to God and His Providence
(may this be His grace) may guide you the other ways. But if you
have accepted Lord Jesus as Saviour and do not deny him in trials,
you shall be saved (Romans 10:10).

For God gave His only begotten Son that none who believeth may
perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

    in Christ Jesus holy name
    Amen
