New Delhi - Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on
Friday held talks with Prime Narendra Modi over dinner
here. This is Srisena's second visit to India in the span
of 17 months in office.
The Lankan President is on a two-day visit to India
during which he, along with, PM Modi will go to Ujjain on
Saturday to participate in the Kumbh Mela. Sirisena will
address the valedictory session at the Vaicharick
Mahakumbh, held as part of the Simhastha Mahakumbh. He is
also scheduled to visit Sanchi Stupa to attend a function
by the Mahabodhi Society of Sri Lanka where he will
unveil a statute of Angarika Dharmapala.
