This is an article well worth reading. The UK tends
to be slightly ahead of the USA when it comes to
"trends" - and we're already seeing this same problem
appearing, and spreading, in the USA.

The cops - they DO have some fair excuses. The politicians
won't LET them do their job - and yes that sometimes requires
some kick-ass. It's always the cop that's guilty. The money
is less, the threat is much higher and the DA and judges
just cut loose the perps. In short, in the current climate,
there's just no POINT in being a cop. Last week the head
of the LA police union told his members they should all
just LEAVE for more civilized parts.

As the current system collapses there are three choices.
First, just go pure Mad Max. Second, forget cops and
use MILITARY for direct law enforcement (would req some
big legal re-writes in the USA) - in short, perpetual
martial law. Third - as suggested in "Clockwork Orange" -
you hire the thugs to be "cops" and look the other way.

Lie. The problem in the U.S. is that pig cops do too many things that *aren't* their jobs, such as bust into wrong houses and shoot the occupants.

The only ones needing the police are the slaves without guns.
