No, you CAN'T get any insurance. You're SCREWED
if anything goes wrong.
And, hate to say it, States around the Gulf ARE
ultra-high-risk. The hurricane that came into
Ft. Meyers last fall was INSANELY expensive ...
no insurer could cover it.
As such, property insurance (probably everywhere)
is a SCAM. If some General Bad happens, well, it's
just WAY too much to cover. We can only blame the
corps just SO much - it's just an Impossible Thing.
