MOSCOW – A spokeswoman for Russia's Foreign Ministry is rejecting U.S. calls for Moscow to withdraw its military specialists from Venezuela and to halt other forms of support for embattled President Nicolas Maduro.
Maria Zakharova said at a briefing Thursday that Russia had sent military help to Venezuela under a bilateral agreement. She questioned the grounds for U.S. Vice President Mike Pence's Wednesday demand for their withdrawal.
"(Was it) on the grounds of international law, on the basis of internal American law or on the basis of some kind of other legal act that nobody knows about?" she said.
Pence's call was "a completely arrogant attempt to dictate to a sovereign state," she said.

Actually the Maduro military dictatorship is not a sovereign state but a gang of thieves because they claim false proprietorship of Venezuela land and natural resources only for the communist/socialist dictatorship of the labor class. That is actually
false philosophy and high treason in government as it seeks to oppress, control and dominate all other occupational groups namely intellectual, military, and mercantile by force. There is no constitutional freedom for anyone under the false communist/
socialist equality that all people are equal as slaves of the central government also known as Marxism and official atheism.

That is communist/socialist propaganda. Venezuela had a much stronger economy under pluralistic democracy and free market system. Communism/socialism is a government created underclass and one party dictatorship that feeds off of each other with false
revolutionary propaganda. That system is dysfunctional and corrupt because their is no individual freedom.
