    It would be a case of multinational cooperation to stake out geographic interest areas. Like an Antarctic areas. I could envision a case of telescope siting in a certain crater.

    Another claim would be a certain orbit. Maybe a case of defending a satellite from space debris.

    I will always promote the high L orbits. One is a parking orbit over the far side high noon. This is where the orbit is always at high noon. It is as unique an orbit as valuable as the Earth's synchronous orbits. The first occupant rules entrance to the
    orbit. And sets the rules.
