    I think only half a dozen rovers have successfully landed on Mars.
    How many have landed upside down or smashed to bit?
    I wouldn't be signing up for MARS ONE (Big Brother TV show on Mars).

    I should dig this book out, I got it for my birthday a couple of years back and there is a whole chapter on failed Mars probe attempts.

    I'll try to reply again to this thread by tomorrow... hopefully I haven't misplaced the book.
