    It is an unmoderated Usenet newsgroup.

    If it was moderated there would be a significant delay between your
    posting something and its appearing in the group.

    Since you are posting from google groups, you can also
    find out if a group is moderated by clicking on About.
    For example
    https://groups.google.com/g/sci.physics.research/about
    says that sci.physics.research is moderated.

    If you need to delete one of your old posts from
    google groups (which wouldn’t delete it from
    newsservers around the world with long retention
    times) you should be able to do it yourself by
    signing in and when on a post clicking on the
    three vertical dots on the upper right and
    clicking on Delete in the dropdown menu.
