Dear all, I hope this post is alright here, but since it should be relevant to some of you, I wanted to share.

On behalf of the Global Young Academy (GYA), I would like to urge the scientists/scholars among you to take the Global State of Young Scientists (GloSYS) Africa survey. The project collects internationally-comparable data on young African scientists in
order to develop policy recommendations that highlight the ways in which young scientists can be better supported in their research efforts and career development. If you have a masters or doctoral degree in any discipline earned within the last ten
years, and are currently living in Africa or the diaspora, you are eligible to take the survey. The GloSYS team is looking for researchers within and outside Academia in any discipline to share their experiences.

You can personally contribute to helping improve the research environment in Africa by completing the short survey:

    English: https://glosys.typeform.com/to/Cup20s

    French: https://glosys.typeform.com/to/OU68Eg

Please also share the survey widely via your professional and social networks. You can also sign up to follow the GloSYS project and learn more about previous GloSYS studies at the website (https://globalyoungacademy.net/…/the-global-state-of-young…/)
and watch a brief film about the GloSYS project on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFoTmEaPLGc&t=3s).

If you are a young scientist, scholar, or researcher, this is a good opportunity to share your experiences and voice your concerns. Thank you for helping shape the future of science in Africa!
