    i cannot seem to go any more forward...

    should I turn around and go backward to go forward?

    It doesn't matter.. you will still have to go forward
    away from the wall...

    It doesn't matter.. you will still have to go forward
    away from the wall...
    but, but, i will be going the other direction...not forward, backward.

    You go forward in the new direction.
    Even if you slow down you are still going forward.
