Well, one of NOVA's best programs ever.

    Excellent!!!

But of course, after NOVA's series of Ancient Earth, there really was nowhere for NOVA to go, but Up.

AP highly recommends NOVA's "The Battle to Beat Malaria", left some tears in my eyes

I was wondering if when you catch malaria, can you ever cleanse the body out of the parasite? Or does it remain hidden in the liver and flairs up now and then? At least that is my impression of malaria plasmodium. That once you catch it, you always have
a reservoir of it in your liver-- or am I thinking of another parasite.

Anyway, I wanted to know if any of the world class runners, especially those record holders of long distance running had malaria, or the 100 meter sprint?? Has any world class runner caught malaria, but still able to run fast?

I have always been super intensely curious.

So, if a person catches malaria, is it always inside that person, hiding in the liver, only to break out sometime in the future??

Has any world class runners, sprinters caught malaria, and still maintain their world class running speed??

Do horses catch malaria?? Does it slow them down???
