Note: The above calculations are very rough, back on envelope type. But if indeed the wheel works as shown in several youtube videos,

    It doesn't.

    Not what the videos show.
The videos show fakes and are made by fakers. But, hey ho, that's the Internet.
Nor what the physics says, from the basics.
All right, basic physics. You assert that free energy can be obtained
from masses (of water) rising and falling in Earth's gravitational
field. It takes energy to raise a mass, E = m * g * h, mass times the gravitational acceleration times the height.

Yes, that is the most fundamental formula to support the fallacious law of conservation of energy.
But I am not talking of energy to begin with.

    I am talking of power.
And power = torque * angular velocity
Power * time = Energy, which is for the bunny-ahs.
If there is torque and angular velocity going on and on, there is power getting generated.
And power when captured by a motor-battery system creates energy.

Thus is energy created when there is surplus torque, that caused in Bhaskaracharya's wheel, or in the case of permanent magnets, in the Perendev simulation where they are suitably angled for continous repulsion.

    Energy is released when a
    mass falls,

When a mass falls, just before it so does, it turns to kinetic energy.
That kinetic energy becomes heat energy.
That heat energy radiates away and is thus lost in the infinite universe.
There is transformation of energy, from potential to kinetic and heat and then loss.

    *the same energy*, E = m * g * h. The mass, the height, and
gravity are all the same, so the energy is the same, and the two cancel
    out.

So what. I am not impressed about the "proof" of the ridiculous law of conservation of energy by just stating it.
Circular logic. Tautology. Like the Bible is correct because it says it is.

There is no net release of energy that you can peddle to the Grid.

When energy is created as shown in the videos, you can do so, or just use it for private purpose.
Charge batteries, convert to hydrogen, run your household gadgets.
    No more bills.

Quite the opposite, in fact. Frictional losses will rapidly bring your
    wheel to a halt.

Yes, if the wheel was balanced with the masses in the bottles NOT moving around.
But as they do, they create a net torque.
THAT HAPPENS AS THE FORCE ON ONE SIDE ACTS OUTWARDS AND ON THE OTHER SIDE ACTS INWARDS.
The above is the basic novelty about the wheel of Bhaskaracharya.
Yes, friction and extra unwanted forces will tend to diminish the angular velocity.
However in this case the effect from the above will be much less than for the balanced wheel with fixed non moving internal masses.

Once again, it is the INTERNAL FORCES that bust the law of conservation of energy. Like my rail gun experiments violating inertia.

Hurrah, let making this wheel become a cottage industry in the thirdworld and for poor people everywhere who want to get on well with their lives.

Common-sense argument: the idea of Bhāskara's wheel (<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bh%C4%81skara%27s_wheel>) has been with
us for nearly a millennium. Is it credible that, if it works, in 900
years no-one anywhere on Earth has exploited it in earnest? Of course not.

Well, only recently has it come to my notice.
India has been sleeping for centuries.
    Time to wake up.

If you can get those arguments into your head, you'll have them in a nutshell.

    Now stop being silly.

Take your own advice. But I know it is difficult for the dogmatic sorts, beaten and brainwashed from infancy into robotic states.

    My sympathies for you, thus.

    Cheers,
    Arindam Banerjee
