    attributed to him on Wikipedia. What a farce.

    I wonder if American politicians and media are still being paid to call
    the Persian Gulf, "the Arabian Gulf" :-) I recently saw them calling it
    Persian Gulf. Did the payments stop?

    Roachie, on a flight to Istanbul I passed over the Arabian Gulf, which was what the airline map said.
    Surprised me a bit, till I reflected that Arab-Persian relations are on the tense side.
