    I have a white light bulb and a black desk.
    The colors of white light convert to black
    in my desk... white going into my desk is
    coming back out black.

    Science is wrong to maintain it knows
    how white can change into all black...

    Look at the spectrum from a prism, Roy. Next to the violet it's black,
    and next to the red it's also black. So your black desk reflects these
    black bands in the spectrum so you see your desk as black. If it didn't
    reflect the black light, your desk would be invisible, not black.
