If it is really changing the needed guidance for man in history would not be around.
If it is off by the slightest bit you will not have accuracy of where you are. The ancient sailors
needed a compass absolute north's reality to accurately guide them. Absolute north
could not be moving around as history would not allow it.
It is another lie in science. The liar lies. and it is not me...

Roy, the fact that magnetic north has been moving has been known for a
couple of centuries already. It was in north Canada and is now heading
to Siberia. Old maps needed compensation if magnetic north is how they indicated north on the maps.

My father was a surveyor and the final versions of his maps typically
had three different "norths" indicated, geographic, magnetic and the
North Star north, along with the date, and usually with a UTM grid
reference. The "norths" would be 3 almost parallel rays, one marked with
a star, one "MN" one "GM".

had three different "norths" indicated, geographic, magnetic and the
North Star north, along with the date, and usually with a UTM grid
reference. The "norths" would be 3 almost parallel rays, one marked with >> >> a star, one "MN" one "GM".

    Similar to this:

If the magnetic pole is moving how did man know how to change his map?
No. North does not change or man would have gotten lost in history.
That is a proof it is not moving. Where is your proof it is?
The lie is it is changing where it is not.

Hundreds of years of observation and comparison with the North Star
    moron.

What is changing the magnetic orientation?
What is causing a pole to move? No it is not happening.
Some measurements are just scientific lies. The liar lies. It is why
    Einstein said science would fail.

    What a babbling idiot.

They compare magnetic north to the North Star north. Once they notice
they change, updates are posted so that one using old maps will be able
to calculate the difference between the old magnetic north and the
    then-current magnetic north.

    No. North does not change

Sorry, Roy, facts disagree with you. This is something easily measured
and magnetic north is not only moving, it is moving faster and faster.
The poles may even flip relatively soon (soon in geologic terms) as it
has done repeatedly before, as you know.

That is a proof it is not moving. Where is your proof it is?

Again, they measure the position/direction of magnetic north and compare
it to geometric north and the North Star, and notice the motion over time.
