My grandfather had the concept of liveweight and deadweight. Saw him OK
for over 90 years. I have doubts about gravity to be resolved, after a
full and frank discussion on this newsgroup, by timing freefall drops
from various heights. Not something generally done, but should be, in
memory of Gallileo. Training as a scientist gives the tools to gather
data, assess evidence, and not just believe everything as dogma.
