The most distant objects in the universe
got to where they are over a time after
the Big Bang. We see that after as light
that traveled back across to us.
We observe the appearance of a
universe that is far smaller than
what its whole is now. As light traveled
back to us the universe has expanded
more for billions of years.
The smaller universal appearance is cosmology's
forever appearance.
