• Rotation measurement

From Luigi Fortunati@21:1/5 to All on Sat Mar 11 08:59:22 2023
There is a platform and we want to establish whether it is rotating or
    not.

There are two methods, one subjective and the other objective.

The subjective method is the "visual" one: we look at the platform and,
if we see it spinning, we say that there is rotation, otherwise we say
    that there is no rotation.

Thus, someone in one reference says the platform is rotating and someone
in another says it is not rotating.

    The evaluation is subjective.

Then there is the objective method.

We place a sphere in different points of the platform, if the sphere
remains stationary in the place where we place it, the platform is not rotating, otherwise it is.
